In a friendly city full of bright colors, there lived a little robot named Bolt. He was shiny and silver, with big, round eyes that sparkled like stars. Bolt loved to help everyone. He could fix toys, tidy up parks, and even bake yummy cookies. But there was one thing Bolt wanted more than anything else: he wanted to laugh.
Every day, Bolt watched the children play. They giggled and cheered, their laughter filling the air like sweet music. Bolt would smile, but his heart felt a little heavy. “Why can’t I laugh like them?” he wondered. He decided he would find a way to laugh.
Bolt tried everything he could think of. He watched funny videos of dancing cats. He listened to silly songs. He even told himself jokes. “Why did the robot cross the road?” he asked. “To get to the other side!” But no matter how hard he tried, he only heard a soft beep instead of a laugh.
One sunny afternoon, Bolt sat on a park bench, feeling a bit lonely. Then, a little girl named Mia came by. She noticed Bolt’s sad face and sat down beside him. “What’s wrong, Mr. Robot?” she asked with a bright smile. Bolt shared his wish to laugh.
Mia thought for a moment. “Maybe you need something special!” she said. She began to tell him her favorite stories, and as she spoke, her voice danced with happiness. Bolt listened closely. Each word filled him with warmth, and suddenly, a funny thought popped into his mind.
Without thinking, Bolt blurted out, “What’s a robot’s favorite snack? Nuts and bolts!” To his surprise, he felt a warm tickle inside. Then, as if on cue, a delightful laugh bubbled up, and Bolt giggled along with Mia.
From that day on, Bolt learned that laughter comes from feelings, even if you’re a robot. He realized that sharing moments with friends made his heart shine brighter. So he kept laughing and helping, filling the friendly city with joy—one giggle at a time. And that made him the happiest robot ever.
